• Self-Leveling and Manual Operation: By moving the switch to the "unlocked" position, the instrument activates its self-leveling feature, allowing it to automatically adjust itself when within ±4° of being level. If the angle exceeds 4 degrees, the lasers will flash, and the LED indicator on the top will turn red. To switch to manual mode, slide the switch to the "lock" position and hold the button for 3 seconds. In this mode, the self-leveling function is turned off, enabling the user to lock the lines for alignment at various angles.
